Sight Words Adventure 2.0

Welcome to Sight Words, an educational adventure designed to help children recognize, read, and write up to 320 sight words.

Centered around the classic game of Hide-and-Seek, the app delves into the cognitive skills required for mastering sight words, including visual attention, understanding word morphology, active listening, and visual memorization.

Aligned with The English Common Core State Standards, this app offers increased exposure to high-frequency words found in text, facilitating the absorption of these words into long-term memory. The word list is curated based on Dolch’s and Fry’s compilations, covering over 50% of words commonly seen in printed material.

Recommended for ages 3-8.
